Make sure that when you are hitting batting practice every swing you take is with a purpose. 
In this video we are discussing the importance of bunting, moving runners, and hit n runs.   Too often coaches just let hitters swing and they aren’t swinging with a purpose and focusing on what they are trying to do.  Put your players in game situations and have them think about what they are trying to execute.
